With one single released each month, Fragments gradually builds over the course of a year. “Working on Lili Boulanger’s Reflets was a huge challenge for us. It was the first time we had to work on a classical piece of music. We instantly knew that our rework would be very different from its original version but at least we wanted to have the same starting point, the beautiful arpeggio which is for us the signature of Reflets and the reason why we choose to work on this particular piece. We also wanted to keep the organic aspect of Reflets and create elements that will unfold and develop this arpeggio. The result is a powerful down-tempo piece with a groovy bass line and world percussion.
